Anchor 98 Editor

Obviously, the yearbook was released in a span of considerably more than a single year.  Unfortunately, this message was written before all the complications and corrections we had with Insta Printers.  I would have loved to correct this paragraph, but then it's already been printed...

Every year, it always takes two to four years to assemble, print, and distribute the yearbook. That record has never been broken … until now. Yes, as Editor-in-Chief of Anchor ’98, I am glad to announce the release of our yearbook in less than a year (actually it's more than a year although less than two)!

Truly, our batch has always been the pioneers and record-breakers. And we are blessed with a very dedicated editorial staff. We labored to complete the yearbook within the span of six months without sacrificing quality. We devoted much of our precious summer vacation time (not to mention Semester Break and Christmas vacation time) to compile the yearbook that you are reading now.

The following are the Anchor Staffers, to whom I express my heartfelt gratitude. To Romel Pareja, whose dedication and zeal is above par. To Cindy Ong and Leelyn Yap for a job well done in financing and distribution. To Athena Catedral, who conceptualized the yearbook during the planning stage and took the job of Senior Writer. To Roselle Gatcho, who made invaluable corrections and suggestions. To Joel Chan and Ritche Gimena, who contributed with their layouts and graphic designs. To Rachel Bono, Dhoria Lim and Rachel Limtong, who wrote much of the write-ups in the Graduate Section. Last but not the least, I would like to thank you, my fellow graduate for your support and contributions to Anchor ’98.

Though the road ahead of us is difficult to cross, we can do it with the same exuberance, determination and tenacity that we have shown while we were together.  With the help of our Lord Jesus Christ, we can conquer any adversity and succeed in our undertakings. What else can I say but "Press on!!!"
