If the Chicago Bulls have a Michael Jordan and a Tony Kukoc, the
seniors too have their own basketball greats – to mention a
couple Ryan Bacaro and Paolo
Gaviola. They leave their sweaty basketball jockeys to
Serven Bebanco and Deogracias Durado.
This girl doesn’t usually speak, but when she does, the words
come out swift and fluent. English is like her native tongue,
and with her high-pitched tone, she could pass as Uncle Sam’s
niece. She is the chub-chub Ivy
Kristine Chong. She passes her tone and tongue to Cherylynn
Cano.
MacGyver on television constantly wows us with his excellent
mechanical skills and his technical knowledge. But ladies and
gentlemen, we have something even better – we have the real
things! From Wisdom, we have Mark
Ybañez, and from Loyalty, Michael
Nilo Yap and Erbert De Vera.
They leave the next episodes of MacGyver to Nicolael
Soriano.
The Crush, Clueless, Batman and Robin
and Excess Baggage – they’re just some of the
movies of the luscious Alicia Silverstone. And she is here with
us in the person of Janice
Ligutom. She leaves her next starring role to Sheryll
Elumbaring.
When boredom strikes during class hours, everyone tries to keep
himself or herself from falling asleep, with one notable
exception. Proving that his prowess goes beyond the basketball
court, Lemuel Gallo – our
expert in the art of sleeping leaves his sleeping pillows to
Ryland Naboya and his MVP Trophy to Ziganoel Lao.
With a most vivid imagination, this person can manipulate
English like no one else. Her reading habits have led her to
acquire the amazing ability to build castles in the air that
allows her to space out sometimes – and she, Rachel
Limtong passes on this talent to Raynan Lanogan.
If "A picture is worth a thousand words", then
the most talkative among the seniors would be Kenneth
Lim and Ritche Gimena.
However their generosity in sharing their talents with the pen
and paper makes them even better than Michelangelo and Leonardo
da Vinci. They leave the finishing touches to Nerio Chu, Jeelord
Chua and Raymond Panganiban.
Modern-day ladies have the capability to be liberated and be in
control but could still be feminine. In other words, Girl
Power. That’s what we see in our ladies of the year, Kimberly
Po and Sheila Po. Their
femininity is passed on to Michelle Yu, Marie Christine Yu and
Kristine Joy Ang.
She is filled with charms and grace when cool but beware: bombs
explode, fireworks light up the sky, and all hell breaks loose
when you get her angry. She is no other than Genevieve
Dy. Her hot and cold mood swings are left this time to
Janette Busa and Billie Joy Uy.
Nothing is sweeter than candy and kisses – except the sweet
syrup and cream-covered nature of Michelle
Po. But she is even more sugary this time as she passes on
her honeyed sweetness to Julie Rose Acogido.
His smart approach to life makes him the mature big brother. He
could pass as a pastor with his decent looks and practicality. Ephraim
Ballo-allo leaves his legacy to Jimmy Noelle Rodella.
She can dress up in the most sassiest styles possible and if
there is anyone who takes more care of her looks than our own Rosibelle
Sarmiento, she would be having facial surgery. Rosibelle’s
ability to beautify is passed on to another lover of beauty –
Bruce Vasquez.
The baby is now a lady? That is the question, because though
smart yet ladylike, she still has to grow up. Pretty and petite,
she will always be our baby girl – the one and only Kylene
Wee, who leaves her prudent, pretty and petite looks to Jazz
Avila and Geornamel Lui.
The Medieval Times is a period of knighthood, an age of chivalry
when knights battled dragons, rescued fair maidens and fought
for their honor. The Medieval times are still alive today,
thanks to our knights in shining armor, Weimon
Famat and Peejay Juan.
They pass on their armor to Jason Tiu, Kirby Tadlas, Rhandie
Carta and Rodolfo Aneslagon.
PCGS is alive with the sound of music sung by the songbirds – Nancy
Tabhan, Cindy Ong and Katrina
Huang. They leave their melodic and harmonic voices to
Dianne Besabella, Antoinette Sio and Evelyn Phua.
The Backstreet Boys disappeared for a while after releasing
their first album, but then returned with Backstreet’s Back.
They brought with them even more dancers with steps never seen
before. Our own Aldwin Peque and
Marc Tiu leave their
Backstreet and Puff Daddy steps to Rondey Rodriguez and Godffrey
Go.
The PCGS diva, otherwise known as the girl with the golden voice
Camille Casumpang bequeaths
her 24-karat vocal cords to Emmanuelle Phua.
The big boy in class is everything but the big bully. He is
instead the witty, cheerful teddy bear Kim
Te, who passes on his funny wisecracks and one-liners to Gil
Hilayo.
The seniors’ baby boy – he’s small, cute, and shy.
Correction – very small, very cute, very shy and he’s
everyone’s favorite. Wilbert
Velasco leaves his baby face to John William Yeh.
Back in the romantic days, knights set out in quests to rescue
damsels in distress. If we have our knights in shining armor
around, then our damsels in distress can’t be far. They are
the traditional, innocent and well-loved ladies May
Ann Lim and Jenny Discaya,
who pass on their distress calls to Jaclyn Limtin and Gaily
Grace Uy.
Abigail Burca and Lyndy
Leigh Uy possess the quiet humor of angels, the wits of
geniuses, and also the silence of lambs. They pass it on to
Laurice Yutico.
Well-versed in literature, a master of grammar, but mute? A
confusing combination – she isn’t actually muted, just
extremely demure. This best describes Monique
Yiu who pass on her skills to Ketti Chua and Jovelyn Yu.
Tall, dark, and handsome – that would be the perfect
description of a Pinoy hunk. But what if he’s Chinese? Let’s
see, he should still be tall and handsome, but white with that
lean face, long straight black hair, and don’t forget those
cute little eyes that vanish when he laughs. A perfect example
would be Dennis Lee who
leaves his Mr. China Looks to Arlington Ong.
During the class hours, Eleanor
Uy and Edlyn Uy exercise
their right to be silent. But beyond the four walls of the
classroom, nobody knows. It’s for them to know and you to find
out. That right is now passed on to Phoebe Mancao and Betty
Baguio.
Few people appreciate the art of writing – the beauty of how
something is written. Except of course during art projects. Our
all-time lettering genius, Frederick
Mocoy leaves his right hand talent to Amethyst Changco.
The class of Wisdom is a eclectic whorl of Technicolor. But one
color and one girl stand out from the rest with her persistence
and diligence. Sheryl Lim,
pretty in pink, leaves her standout style to Shaila Abellanosa.
Walking on tiptoe, and with his stomach ahead, he could be the
only military general who walks and dresses like a senator. He’s
nobody else but Almino Malaza
III and he leaves behind his fancy gait to Jeaferson
Sanchez.
If Vogue, Seventeen, or Glamour were to look for a new cover
girl in PCGS, one girl from the seniors would grab the spot
hands-down. She is none other than the tantalizing Laarni
Espina, who passes on her cover girl looks to next-in-line
Tanya Fe Loise Ty.
The most expensive, most rare, and most beautiful doll of all is
the China doll. And we have them here – two of them actually.
Life-sized, alive, and in person. Our very own Leelyn
Yap and Michelle Amanda Lim,
who pass on their rare Chinese beauty to Annie Pascual.
This girl can not just play, but play very well. She is Olympic
material – one with asthma. How could that be? Well, will
wonders never cease? Khristina
Chiongliu passes on her fire on the courts to Kathleen
Chavez.
Will Smith as Mike Laury, Robin Padilla, and Gabe
Villaflor – what do they have in common? Well, they’re
all bad boys – at least they used to be. Will Smith is now a
member of the MIB, Robin Padilla has been to prison, and Gabe is
now tamed. Or shall we say…behaved. But still he passes on the
bad boys’ heritage to Fernando Estavilla.
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Ladies and
gentlemen let us behold a couple of the Fourth Year beauties –
Analou Dy and Jennifer
Po. With bodies to die for and looks that kill, they pass on
their lethal beauty secrets to Jenifer Rodriguez.
As our Math teacher Mr. Bacalso would have put it, this boy is
in love…with numbers that is. Because he excels in math, Daniel
Jared Yap, our Mr. Jonah Bacalso Junior, passes on his title
to another title-holder, Math King Andrew Luy.
Kung Tagalog lang ang pag-uusapan, wala nang dadaig pa sa aming Charisma
Go at Lailah Dy. Kaya
lahat pati ang malalambing nilang mga tono ng pananalita ay
kanilang iniiwan para kay Jomelda Anne Abel.
He may look cold, cool, and quite outside, but he is hot in the
courts. He may be subtle and silent elsewhere, but he dominates
in the volleyball court. Arnel
Yongco, our volleyball MVP leaves his torn kneepads to
Wendell Allosada.
No one can best or even compare to the way Roselle
Jane Gatcho grooves. She’s got moves we haven’t even
seen before. Her unbeatable style, incomparable moves and
irresistible charm is left in the loving care of the one and
only Paola Patalinghug.
Table Tennis is in his blood – it runs through his veins. It’s
even a legacy in his family. He is the one and only Alexies
Agriam. And he leaves his racquet in the core of Ariel
Montesa.
"More than words" could not apply to these ladies
about to be mentioned. They can talk nonstop. The Queens of
Talk, Zenaida Gomez and Liezl
Torres pass on their scepters of immortal words to Faith Go
and Lean Michael Hilongo.
The deep resounding masculine voice is not common among most
males today. So we are very blessed to experience the soothing
baritone of Joel Chan,
which he passes on to Williamson Po.
Tangkilikin ang Musikang
Pilipino. And who could do that more than our favorite Edalyn
Keh? She passes on her love for the OPMs to Wilma Po.
"White hair is the crown of wisdom and experience."
Now, white hair is not always a sign of old age – the evidence
would be Paul Giovanni Diu,
who has lots of it. He may be our granddaddy but passes on his
crown to Thomas Yiu.
The early bird catches the worm. However in this case, the
early bird goes home early. Most noted for being prompt – in
going home, is our Melah Jayne
Labuca. And she passes on her version of the early bird
routine to Elvie Marie Limtin.
HOT! HOT! In other words: mainit. This time, let’s say
Mainit ang ulo. That would be a description of our hot
hunk Timothy Lee – he has
a temper but now he also has a cooling technique. What could
that be? Sorry, that’s for him to know and to pass on to
Roderick Sia and Marvin Tiu.
Yes, this girl may look common, but there’s nothing plain
about this young lady with the girl-next-door looks. She is Janette
Lee, and she has that something that makes you take a second
glance at her. She leaves this mystery to Janet Chiongliu.
If anyone can do magic with a make-up kit – and draw a perfect
eyebrow, it would be Dhoria Lim.
Not only equipped with brains, she can also paint – faces that
is. Now, she leaves her make-up kit to Louella Lei Limbaco and
Deborah Anne Tiu.
Joining the ranks of 112, 98 Degrees, Boyzone, Code Red, 911 –
to name a few boy bands, are our home grown talents Jehmel
Go, Ian Lim, and Rennan
Lui. They lay down their stepping stones to their soon-to-be
hit songs for Corregidor Catane and Carlo Cusi.
Chess is a battle of strategy, technique, and brains. And who
could be better than our all-time geniuses Stevenson
Yu and Athena Catedral?
They pass on their king and queen to the next great chess
masters – Christian Tan and Stella Mae Alvarez
We don’t hear from them often, but are they really that quiet?
They don’t often speak up, especially in the classroom. But
they can actually blend with the wall in their silence. Could
they be the still waters that run deep? Well, Blas
Go and Wilford Po leave
those questions to Rellington Yu, Sean Uy, Dunstan Chan and
Nelson Ngo.
Cute is defined as small and ugly. But pa-cute in our
sense is now defined as trying to look adorable and attractive.
Succeeding to do so with his very adorable face is Herbert
Ronald Kwan who leaves the secrets of his success to John
Clement Po and Eddie Gokiangkee.
Left-handed individuals have always been known for some specific
talent. And among the fourth years, Donwill
Loyd Lim has been chosen to represent the senior left-handed
population as he pass on his skills to the junior left-handed
population represented by Joseph Paul Lao.
A dangerous and sometimes lethal combination of beauty and
brains are mixed together in the very lean frame of your friend
and mine – Rachel Bono.
But since there isn’t much of her to go around, she can only
leave her beauty and brains to Sheila Dona Teyu.
He can sing, act, dance, direct and decorate – who is he? Yes,
his artistic abilities definitely stand out. But he’s more
than that. And that more in him makes us just love him.
However, the great Romel Pareja
is keeping that more as it is too much to handle for
anyone else. His multi-artistic talents go to Christian Vidal.
